Few Degrees of Seperation

Bat Man + Lechuguilla, NM + Cave Formation + Saarinen + Everything
= All is architecture
Proof: "Because we are surrounded by the built environment at almost literally every moment of the day; it is the frame through which our experiences are filtered" (Manaugh, 2009, pp. 14).

Let me begin with Batman. His character duality in Bruce Wayne, transfers into his home with the Wayne mansion and the Bat Cave. Yes, science proves that anatomy is the architecture of the human body. The bat suit symbolizes the alter ego of Bruce Wayne. The bat suit is architecture in that it is constructed to conform to Wayne's body. The tensile thread supports each component as it wraps the proportions of its host. Each curvature is a response to an external influence. The suit is a necessity of Wayne's alter ego. It is utilitarian. It's artful craft is evident in its successful transfer of initial form while creating a unique and individual entity.

Likewise, Wayne's home emulates the same duality through its grandiose space which is paired with the darker, more concealing alter environment of the Bat Cave.

The Bat Cave is relative to Lechuguilla, Carlsbad Cavern National Park in New Mexico, which is the architecture of nature. It's intention is to create an underground encloser with inconspicious entry points for Wayne's alter ego (Bat Man). Bats inhabit caves, which fulfill necessity and utility, and are carefully constructed through artfully interdependent circumstances of nature.

Cave formation is Science.
